The logistics are what they are: the surface lot along Riverside Drive fills early, Amboy Road gets congested when events and RAD foot traffic overlap, and Ubers into the River Arts District on a Saturday night are a 20-minute wait minimum.

Hi-Wire Brewing's South Slope flagship at 197 Hilliard Ave is the anchor of Asheville's most concentrated craft brewery corridor — a 15,000-square-foot production facility and taproom that pours the full Hi-Wire lineup alongside guest taps, with a beer garden that fills by early afternoon on any weekend worth being there. South Slope (roughly the area between Coxe Avenue, Hilliard, and South Charlotte Street) also holds Burial Beer, Catawba Brewing, and a dozen other stops within a four-block walk — it's legitimately the most efficient brewery crawl geography in the city. Parking on Hilliard Avenue is metered and limited; the South Slope corridor is designed to be walked, not driven between.
